Justin Mazur

Education:

September 2006-2009 completed a diploma course in Multimedia Design and Production at Humber College School of Media Studies and Information Technology.

Graduated from Streetsville Secondary School June 2006.

Technical Skills:

I am proficient using both PC and Macintosh platforms. Software languages and technologies I am well versed in include XML, PHP, Subversion, MySQL, CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, FBML, FBJS as well as some Action Script. I am also highly skilled using Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro for video production along side with Sony Sound Forge and Adobe Audition for audio production.

Leadership Skills and ability to work in teams:

Working well within a team has always been an area of strength for me; this has been a skill that has developed throughout my studies at Humber College and previous work environments. I step up whenever a leadership role in my area of expertise arises without hesitation.

Work Experience:

In the past I have worked for a web design/development company called Offshoot Inc. I started as an intern working on PHP related projects but soon became a fully fledged employee. While there I became well versed with XHTML and CSS as my job regularly consisted of turning Photoshop documents into usable code for other PHP developers.

Volunteer Work:

I have received two Certificates of Recognition from the Principal for Outstanding Organization and Performance with the technical aspects of all stage or theatrical production at our school from 2002 – 2006. These productions would include plays, talent shows, music nights, graduation ceremonies and also all school assemblies. My involvement would include a variety of responsibilities from lighting, sound, and special effects.
